one single impression sunday prompt: quagmire
photo: mouse in the house, equipeowen, flickr

Mouse in the house

hidden in a tiny corner
lives a mouse of small consequence
hungry he heads towards his meal
apprehensive and all ears alert
a simple bite of cheese
ever aware, his engaging adversary
