thomg three word wednesday: clutch, delight, happy
photo: willow’s wednesday magpie tales mag 41
gautami’s monday poetry train revisited no 107 [i think]
it’s almost 3
the stars are screamin’ loud
laughing and sparkling
telling a comet come quick
clutching at the purpose
i was hoping for more
the shake of your head
the toss of your luggage
i can’t shake the delight
hidden away till later
hard luck and happiness
the toss of a falling star
the ending is great. especially that last line: the toss of a falling star.
hope all is well.
I too love the last line, ‘the toss of a falling star’… well done. hopeful piece.
oh so very well written.
Screamin’ starts…LOVE it!
love the idea that stars scream and laugh their communications to comets. very cool.
Your Magpie has an energy and bravado that is infectious!
“hard luck and happiness
the toss of a falling star” -well put!
Morning Routine
pop,
That is so pretty.

ah
A comet at the stars’ beck and call; interesting!
ooh, I really like this line: “clutching at the purpose”
I wish I could write poetry as good as this one
Beautiful use of prompt words.
It is a great poem. I love the line “the stars are screamin’ loud”. but the last two lines, “hard luck and happiness/the toss of a falling star” are truly great! Glad I stopped by.
