six word saturday

4am.awake

dark the silent day begins early.

the whole time change has affected my sleep pattern. at first I thought doesn’t bother me, but light and dark definitely matter. been waking up way early 3 or 4 in the morning. why I have no idea. so here I am surrounded by warm blankets writing. momentary heaven.

gautami’s monday poetry train revisited no 107 [i think]

it’s almost 3
the stars are screamin’ loud
laughing and sparkling
telling a comet come quick

clutching at the purpose
i was hoping for more
the shake of your head
the toss of your luggage

i  can’t shake the delight
hidden away till later
hard luck and happiness
the toss of a falling star

big tent poetry: this week’s prompt wordles
photo: 2001 space odyssy the cosmic waltz, flickr

love the shift of time travel
as if i found a genie in a bottle
tossed a long time ago and
lands at my feet

the taste of 3 sweet wishes
trying not to peer at his psychedelic poofy pants
i click my feet humming a long forgotten
childhood rhyme

debris field dreams float by like magic
passing the half-eaten whims of another
effortlessly skirting the evidence
swarming stars collide

landing gear descends
the docking station creeps close
my temporary parts give way
exposing the backbone
of a long adventure

captain peecard and number 1
my heart embellishes the rub of his head
who would pass a touch of his lips
blue eyes blazing i forgot to close the door
whoosh the sound screams
of automated time

flying purple parade tiny little fairies
gold flecked tinker bell fugitive dust
never never land nutcracker ballerinas
musical sounds orchestrating fortunes
the easing salve bitty bites of bewilderment
ferocious fierce loud barking dog
running chasing fast and furious
haunting hallowed heights
next door neighbor far distant land
behind the clouded glass shadowed stranger
she shifts her silk sounds the breaking cracked glass
social step ladder lead footed feat

stilled in quiet flight
surfing swimming alluvium
tiptoe tantalizing tangoed feet
lucid lies languish
clear cautious perfume
the quiet queer complex feral figure
heavenly pitter patter paws pass
vast village vintage venues
serrated mist mellows monday maybes
across the lane lies the empty lot
through a fluttering fog she smiles
light lace pink slip clinging clutter
leaves no mentioning mark

the cognizant invisibility
of my digital clock
red light’s silent
thunderous ticking

it’s always this way
overcome with restless-ness
suspended sleep
even here with peace
lying beside me
in gentle waves of water

all wet
a quiet noise comes
the sandman
his twinkling  toes
and pink gold floating dust

cannot help but to
take flight the
midnight cool air
a singsong bird’s call
chimera dripping rainbow

we soon soar
peeling past the
canopy effervescent stars

subtlety steady
straight ahead
there’s nothing so like this
not even hot butttered
blueberry pancakes
