one single impression, no 70: blue rain
almost running swift
caught between a dry and wet
thick curtains dripping
dusty from a dream
awakened tranquility
stone yields to water
flowing fast downstream
gathered in a sudden storm
one drop wanders loose
unraveled alive
abide along the steep bank
captured inbetween
I can picture life being as such too. We perch somewhere becoming comfortable with our surroundings until life shakes us loose again. Wonderful write. See ya~
We perch there until unraveled…excellent write!
a safe perch from unexpected turmoil. Sweeping movement in this one. lovely!
Sounds like a bad dream. I like every word.
Best parts are caught between wet and dry (only in dreams or a world I don’t know), yielding to the water (an explanation of mellowing in my old age) and then my final peaceful but lonely resting place. 🙂
How’d I do?
..
Wow… thats a powerful writeup.. Loved the imagery, feel and rhythm…
I really like the image of awakened tranquility.
This is absolutely wonderful! I am so glad I stopped in to enjoy this work. G
