if you attend intently
eyes gazing
brain occupied
you may observe
the earth breathing

the spirit roving
over dry waters
creating a world
supporting our feet

look upward
and kiss the
blue beautiful sky
not my
brother’s monkey

  1. Have you noticed how the earth sighs at sunset? I really enjoyed this poem and the image goes wonderfully with it.

  2. This is beautiful. Most of the time we’re just not conscious of this strange planet on which we live.

    ‘you may observe
    the earth breathing

    the spirit roving
    over dry waters’

  3. I agree with watermaid in that most people don’t slow down enough to see what beauty lies before them. Earth reveals so many things to those who watch/ listen. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice day.
