rebecca’s friday prompt of recuerda mi corazon [haiku my heart]
photo: weight of frost, tapio hurme, flickr
placing herself here
she thought maybe it might stick
having no weight she wanders
waiting for what would occur
beneath her
possessing stars, the night comes
and goes, she tosses one randomly
as petals from the perfect petunia
cheerful and chatty she bends
to behave in a weightless want
of wandering
“cheerful and chatty she bends
to behave in a weightless want
of wandering”
your alliteration is so natural and beautiful!
you have a lyrical style that moves me much link a familiar song.
your way of always looking for the best in each moment, and each person resonates here and pleases me so.
much love to you.
Ms. Pie,
You are a little like Mary Oliver in that you take something as ephemeral as a lovely bit of long grass or wheat and create with it the fragility and numinosity of a great soul wandering the universe. You juxtapose the heavens with the earth so easily, almost slipping it by the reader’s notice, the tossing of stars “randomly as petals from the perfect petunia” and “cheerful and chatty she bends to behave in a weightless want of wandering.” Weightless want? Hmmm, I must think about that one for a while. Happy Valentine’s Ms. Pie. This is lovely.

Wow!!! Last lines made me just get awe struck…very beautiful..
Hiya MsPie,
Just wanted to warn you if Rebecca hasn’t done so already:
I see you have $20.000 dollar to spare –
Or you are very very brave.
Or maybe you are Tapio Hurme?
Getty are not slow to slap a copyright infringement on bloggers. Take a look:http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/topic/4626-getty-images-copyright-infirngement-16k-demand/
And don’t think they won’t go for the little people: a friend of mine got tied up in a court case and it took ages to get out of it.
Just saying…
Dreamy colours and words work their magic on me, I feel relaxed and in love with life this Sunday afternoon,
Thanks Sue x
Breathtaking poetics. Such a lovely rhythm (and soul). I am in awe.
