I guess being in the ocean is about as weightless as I have ever felt. Good point.
Oh I was doing so good with these swirling words. Until, … I got to the carleess of direction. Have you ever gone out too far when you didn’t care? It is scary until you are back to safety. So goes our living with our freedom. 🙂
..
Maybe I shouldn’t say it, but in my generation there was ‘free love.’ ‘There is no such thing as a free lunch.’ I think we can NOW say there WAS no such thing for the other free item either. 🙂
..
You express the waves perfectly here.
There is a lightness here that is wonderful and innocent. Makes me feel happy. 🙂
Careless direction. Thats the way I go.
ripple of roaming waves – love this line – it lends itself to the feeling of freedom and lightheartedness.
Beautiful
That careless of direction can get one in trouble when the waves sweep you off your feet and make you drink a BIG gulp of ocean water. I really like this. Hope all is well.
Your poem is wonderful, your words took me into the experience. Your art is supports your poem wonderfully.
You describe a delightful freedom. How the ocean can buoy us!
