Poetry, shadorma

6 lines

expression
empty space exposed
imagine
and bookmark
pursue the interrupted
now coast backwards home

persuaded
by sight within one
flashlight bright
beaming brave
camera ready memories
shifting down to slow

rain slick road
thunder and lightning
furious
for a few
the sound of falling water
encloses the space

author’s notes: wandering through poetry blogs searching for weekly/daily prompts found a great site mindlovemisery’s Menageries and there was shadorma, a new poetry form which i found fascinating… spent the day writing a shadorma

big tent poetry, this week’s prompt wordle

Wordle: Untitled

not much to hold
nor weight to carry

tiptoe insides slip slide a squeal
kindle smoldering sight

crackling fiction flames, weaving
a wake of smoke and significance

tidy tomorrows clause and curl
fire floating pages one passing parade

tangle and tease superficial touch
scorching smile symmetric singe

disappearing boyish memento, celluloid
story he started by brushing her thigh

quiet a question hushed hue
tattered testament soot

left over litter, daylight ablaze
sparkle diamond defy

stir the still shadows blooming
one gasp, a hundred grins

say more the unspeakable
not much weight to memory

Collusion

Sleepless
photo: Dknemo, photobucket

the bones rattle loud
against the soundless walls
of yesterday biting hard

gathered in collusion
mumbling old stories
uninvited unremembered
heartless drifting guests

tiny wet tears gather
speeding downward
toward rejection
dried without sorry
defending rights of passage

evading sleep squanders
listening to loud lamentations
wailing mysteries untold
hitched a ride for free

heavy with exhaustion
eyes unseeing
compassion sings softly
gentle soothing songs

closet cleaning creates mystical waves of bending time, passing years, shedding skins, emptying dusty suitcases filled with long ago memories….

1…
turning away
told endless lies
of believeable truths

2…
covered in the warmth
of forgiveness
answered cold
screamed back

3…
restless the sheets
entangled my heart
with invisible chains of grief

4…
layers of heat
filled my heart
yearning for his touch

breathless i cried out
his name
to the empty air
hearing without ears
