my 4 sisters

http://rickmobbs.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/my-4-sisters.jpg

there’s really five of us
one separated by death

barefoot in the cool sand
we come to say goodbye
where we forever felt free

gathering all our days
we watch wistfully
as her spirit peacefully
slips away

smiling on a breeze
sailing ethereal ship
waves of water
into the tangled deep
a transient traveler

intrinsic blueprint
patterned on the
palms of our hands
we hold onto multi-colored
ocean memories
including her too

to Lisa our dear sister, who left us too soon…

Bystander

nocturnal quietude
half moon present
jupiter adjacent allures

portal ajar
rushing sound stirs
soothing liquid deluge

disguised zephyr
camouflaged limbs
bearer of the mask sky

tethered to time
envelope encased
shining bright gold
torquoise blue mane

brief acquiesce
allowable glimpse
brushed kindred assemble
ancestral voices testify

summoned
the wind follows
nocturnal restoration
watered oracle withdraws

spring

during the day
the prelude to dusk
the world slumbered
unnoticed by the
exchange of events

thanking the stars
she kissed the
twin of her flame
in the sunlight of
his tranquility

lifetime of love
sifted by sands
with scaled wings
and scalding fire
she rests

brought to fruitation
the spell of seasons
ignites the blue moon
amidst twilight and birth
held in the embrace
the harvest arrival
