big tent poetry monday prompt: anger pantoum….this was a most enjoyable exercise.. ; thommygz three word wednesday: hidden, noble, roam; photo: Female Common Hawk, Steve aka Crispin Swan, flickr
provoked
a wild way of thinking breaks loose
passing by like a hurricane
blowing off the roof
a wild way of thinking breaks loose
a strong winged noble force
blowing off the roof
a somewhat hidden now roams
a strong winged noble force
rebellious temper ignites
a somewhat hidden now roams
the sifting surety singes
rebellious temper ignites
passing by like a hurricane
the sifting surety singes
provoked
I like the way you condensed this so well.
I love the strength and energy in this piece – alliteration works so well in this – the wings’ wind almost hisses. The title sings.
Oh, I love the one-word beginning and end you designed in this pantoum. Provoked! Indeed.
you did a superb job with this form!

I love how you did this, and I love predators, too! Beautifully written!
Oh my, this is strong! I’d love to hear you read it aloud.
Terrific job with the pantoum form…I also liked it’s subtlety.
very strong poem here. love the line ‘a wild way of thinking breaks loose’. hope all is well.
I really like the first and last stanzas here that summon up all the furious power.
I felt the intensity – very powerful stuff!
I had to look up what a Pantoum is – I might try one, maybe with this coming week’s Three Words (wasn’t really aware of the site).
The choice of the falcon pic really gives this poem a punch! Wonderful words!
Terrific use of the form and photo — that word “provoked” was terrific to work off of. Enjoyed reading your poem.
The economy of this really captures anger in its pure form.
This sounds really good out loud. I read it to myself, enjoying how “a wild way of thinking breaks loose” sounds.
