one single impression: no. 46 a summer’s day

warmth in bright colors
blanket the bright blazing sand
supine saturate
rushing shoreline sounds
immersed in cool salty swells
clear cobalt sky croons
watching the white snow
a blanket of heavy flakes
summer revival
ahh, this is a thought i rely on, images of summer…how far away it feels on these snowflakey days. but thoughts of supine saturations (what happened to my tan?!) and timeless nights on the water…ahhhh…what would i do with out my mental summer revivals!
Oh, I’m waiting for that revival. Time for winter to go.
..reading ur poem(s) i imagine summer & winter in a ballroom dance of the seasons..many thanks for sharing this..
Sounds so good right now. I am missing the colors of summer.
Love the sounds in the words you chose…and I love the name of your blog!
Perfect! I love your take on this prompt. So evocative and unique. Hugs, G
PS: The photo is so wonderful too! 😉
O let us begin the revival! How I long for summer! It was almost torturous doing a summer poem in the dead of winter!
Summer revival…summer revives and summer can be revived. Lovely.
Looking at summer through winter’s eyes. Beautiful picture and words
That is very bright and pretty. A painting in words.
You had me warmed, enjoying the sights and sounds of summer until that mention of snow.
