there’s really five of us
one separated by death
barefoot in the cool sand
we come to say goodbye
where we forever felt free
gathering all our days
we watch wistfully
as her spirit peacefully
slips away
smiling on a breeze
sailing ethereal ship
waves of water
into the tangled deep
a transient traveler
intrinsic blueprint
patterned on the
palms of our hands
we hold onto multi-colored
ocean memories
including her too

That is a very beautiful tribute poem and fits the painting perfectly, really captures the scene and gives its depth. Wonderful work.
“smiling on a breeze
sailing ethereal ship
waves of water
into the tangled deep
a transient traveler?” this was such a warm-hearted poem. i adore the love; strong and tranquil.
So beautiful, poignant.
