Friday Haiku Winter

Photobucket

1….

drifts of snow gather
near the hushed flowing river
forming soft white hills

. . . . . .

Willow

2….
the young willow tree
stood strong as winter approached
resting in silence

3….

in the deep white snow
the small red fox stepped lightly
searching and sniffing

eclipsed moon and stars

4….

moon-filled glistening night
piercing cold embrace the sky
numbing the bare stars
