A Good Lesson

still clanging stars roar
erase the summer burnt sky
wordless wind embrace

night speak shift appears
tame torment cool breeze besiege
fall comes quietly

sitting still shower
transparent suggestion sense
contact connection

comes the coolness close
carrying a cold climate
white weather snowflakes

  2. Beautiful changes and the cycle continues each year!!

  3. Change….it can be beautiful…humans hesitate at change…nature does it with beauty…I like your haiku a lot…

  4. I do like the bit that says ‘fall comes quietly’ and the sense of something new coming…

Although I’m glad to be back in the South and closer to family, I do miss the autumn color and winter snows. Your poem takes me back north for a few moments.

writing is everything...
