the sunday whirl wordle no 19. enjoy the challenge of a great wordle prompt
we write poems no 69. this week ’s challenge by amy, sharplittlepencil, created a nonform. Formulaic: 3 + (x) = Poem

a pantomime breeze that speaks
sweeps through the surrounding
transporting a trunk with deep dark dust
(catch the serenity sounds of shadows splashing)

velvet black vessel with velocity oozing
card carrying credentials crumbling canvas
leopard skins and tiger teeth cloister
(growling grins glow graciously benign)

residue relics reckoning a reply
rattling treasures take a turn with truth
wholes and halves orbiting halos take wing
(fluttering feathers finger pointing that way)

a cloak of cool colliding colors
separate into middle matter
puffing pink pudding mist
(too delightful to decipher)

resting at a carrot juice junction
no one makes a move
the swirl of soot lays low
(a deposit of ancient shavings)

  1. What a sharp and witty description; shot that sounds ‘familiar’ to me.

I enjoyed it very much – “leopard skins and tiger teeth cloister
    (growling grins glow graciously benign)”.
I send you a great smile ms pie

  2. Wow! An alliteration explosion, and in a wordle yet. Wonderful job. You make it fun to read.

  3. I agree- it was a pleasure to read this.

  4. Absolutely gorgeous words!!! “Shadows splashing” is one of the most spectacular images I’ve ever come across.

  5. This was a thrill to read. I had read Amy’s intriguing prompt at We Write Poems, but life got too busy to write and read poetry this week.

    Yours is my first.
You did great justice to her prompt.
    I love it.
    (wish I’d had the time)
    :) Alliterative explosion, indeed!

  6. What everyone else has already said and a sparkle of more :) Wonderful…

  7. Lovely! I like the alliteration very much – “card carrying credentials…” They are all amazing. You have combined so many images to make a large picture. I enjoyed reading very much!
