Entangled Trophy
it’s never what you think
the fantasy flutter
of butterfly wings
silent serene passage
through volatile gardens
of watchful observers
waiting to clarify
the deep net of reversal
bent on catching
liberty captive
time freezes pinned
to a glass coffin case
of precious peace
denying freedom
with transitory satisfaction
the collector calmly
views his prize piece
